For the first time, we invite you to our TTAG Zagorochoria Experience.

TTAG and our friends at Free in Zagori (or our good friend Akis Ziakas) are hosting a week of adventure and discovery in the beautiful Zagorochoria!

The huge mountains, green forests, and charming stone villages are a sight you have to see to believe. The sound of running water, old stone bridges, and amazing views everywhere will help you relax and feel renewed.

We will stay at the cozy Free in Zagori guesthouse in Gyftokampos from Monday, October 13th to Friday, October 17th. Each day we will hike to famous villages and landmarks in Eastern, Central, and Western Zagori. This event takes place between our two October mushroom hunting trips (Oct 10-12 & Oct 17-19 family edition), which we've been doing for 4 years. You can join us for one day or for the whole week (as a package with the mushroom hunting trip).

The daily cost is 60-75 Euros. This includes a bed, a homemade breakfast, one yoga/breathwork/meditation class, and the daily hike (with car transport when needed). The cost for all 5 days is 250 Euros. In the evenings, we will eat together at local restaurants or at the guesthouse.

Indicative Daily Hikes:

Monday, Oct 13: 5 Bridges (Kipi-Koukouli-Kipi, 10km, about 3 hours). Or a longer circular route from Vitsi (16.2km, about 6 hours).
Tuesday, Oct 14: Kapesovo - Vradeto Steps - Vradeto - Beloi viewpoint (6-8 km, 2.5-3 hours).
Wednesday, Oct 15: A relaxed day. Seasonal Arvanitsa Lake (a 2-hour circular hike).
Thursday, Oct 16: Kleidonia - Aristi - Voidomatis River - Kleidonia (circular, 12 km, about 5 hours).
Friday, Oct 17: Monodendri - Agia Paraskevi Monastery - "Stone Forest" - Oxia viewpoint (Vikos Gorge view, 4-6 hours)

Arrive at the charming “Free Inn Zagori” around 18:00, your cozy home for the next two nights. As the sun sets over Giftokampos, we’ll come together for our first meet-and-greet dinner. It’s a time to connect, share stories, and leave all your worries behind. Relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the Free Inn.

Wake up to a morning yoga session led by our certified yoga instructor, Yannis Spyroudis. The stunning natural backdrop and fresh mountain air will elevate your practice, leaving you refreshed and invigorated.

Simultaneously, a two-hour creative activity session for our younger guests will be hosted by our qualified pedagogue, Emma Drouga. Children can begin a journey of fun and imagination while you find your inner peace.

Following a hearty breakfast, prepare for an enthralling mushroom seminar by our certified mushroom forager, Dimitris “Takis” Siafarikas. Takis will unveil the forest’s secrets and introduce you to its edible treasures.

Then, it’s time to set off on an exhilarating mushroom hunting expedition through the enchanting forest. No need for equipment—just your senses and enthusiasm. The adventure will last approximately 3 hours. Feel the thrill as we explore nature’s wonders together.

Returning to the Free Inn, Takis will share his wisdom and guide us in distinguishing the edible from the inedible mushrooms.

In the afternoon, our little adventurers can once again dive into a world of creativity with a second two-hour session, ensuring their day is just as exciting as yours.

Next, our talented vegan chef, Teo “Akis” Ziakas, will work his culinary magic, crafting a delectable mushroom-themed feast. Get ready for a mouthwatering experience!

As night falls, gather around for a cozy movie night or simply unwind and share laughter with your newfound friends.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, and unforeseen circumstances may arise. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our company, allowing for flexibility while ensuring the sustainability of our operations.

Cancellation Period:
- Cancellations made 30 days or more before the scheduled departure date are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made between 14 and 30 days before the scheduled departure date will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled departure date are non-refundable.
